 Equality and Collectivism
Equality and collectivism, like in the traditional kibbutz, are expressed through financial, social and culture cooperation. All salaries and incomes are given to the kibbutz and the members receive a budget according to the size of their family. The kibbutz covers all housing, health, transportation and joint cultural expenses, and the personal budget covers the rest (unlike on most traditional kibbutzim, food and utilities are paid for by the member's personal budget). Any jobs or activities that need to be done around the kibbutz are done by members volunteering at weekly general assembly meetings, which also deal with decisions that have to be made by the group.
